Talented professionals looking to share their expertise in the classroom can explore teaching opportunities at Virginia Peninsula Community College’s Adjunct Faculty Job Fair on Oct. 24.
The 4 – 8 p.m. event at the Peninsula Workforce Development Center (600 Butler Farm Rd.) will give industry experts and educators who seek fulfilling part-time positions an inside look at VPCC’s adjunct faculty offerings.
College leaders, faculty and representatives from the Center for Teaching and Learning will be available to answer questions and offer valuable insight about the VPCC teaching experience.
Adjunct faculty are crucial in VPCC’s mission to change lives and transform communities. The job fair will allow attendees to learn about adjunct teaching opportunities in various fields, including Allied Health, Information Technology/Cybersecurity, trades programs, and many academic subjects.

Allied Health Fields (Requirements: Certifications in the field and 3-5 years of professional experience)
Phlebotomy Technician
Certified Medical Administrative Assistant
Certified Nurse Aide (RN with Long-Term Care experience)
Clinical Medical Assistant
Medical Coding & Billing Specialist
EKG Technician and Basic Life Saving (CPR)
- Information Technology/Cybersecurity (Requirements: Relevant certification and 3-5 years of experience)
- Motorcycle Coaches – Must be Virginia DMV Certified
- Trades Programs (Requirements: 3-5 years of industry experience and certifications preferred)
